Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope you’re enjoying what this weekend has to offer. We’re going to enjoy staying home and being ‘low key’ because we can! Except for a planned grocery shop this morning. We recently got a car didn’t we? So now we can venture a little further away for our groceries. So just before lockdown a FAB new supermarket called ‘Wegmans’ opened in Brooklyn. It’s about a 15 minute drive from us. Perfect!

Here’s a small part of it!!

We’ve only been once, but have been talking about it hungrily ever since. And it’s finally time to return. The fridge is embarrassingly empty!! But other than that little flash of excitement (I know, riveting innit?) we’ll be sticking close to base.

We’ve both agreed that we feel a little exhausted this week. Not physically, but just mentally fatigued. And so it’s time to switch off for a few days, and just be. I have a feeling the puzzle board might make an appearance too.

If only 21 year old Grace could see me now, sitting behind a puzzle board at home on a Friday AND Saturday night… she’d be shocked. Possibly even appalled. But 21 year old Grace doesn’t know what’s good for her does she?! hahaha.

Anyway, moving swiftly on… I tried to pick only 5 or 6 cards this week (since 27 last week almost did me in!) but it’s reeeally HARD because there’s sooo many epic ones!
So I picked 10. That’ll do donkey, that’ll do.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter if I share your work. It’s all about YOU sharing your work. The more you do it, the more you’re building confidence. I can’t tell you how nervous I was about writing blogs in January.

Mum: I think it’d be cool if you started writing blogs too…
Grace: What? Like… to people?
Mum: Yes! Clarity blogs. A bit of craft, a bit of personality. Just be you.
Grace: *ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED*

And here we are, 8/9 months later… and I’m certainly not terrified or nervous anymore at all. It’s just part of what I do now, 3 times a week! Sometimes more. It doesn’t phase me (anymore). I’m just chatting to my friends now. How things change eh?

So keep sharing your work! What might not be your favourite work of yours, might inspire someone else. It’s all about the big picture! Now, check out these beautiful pictures…

Vivian Dillimore

Judith Parker
Deb McMullin
Colleen McKeeman
Sarah Lloyd
Linda Laverty
Jean Reid
Laney Elliot

STUNNING! Absolutely stunning. I hope you enjoy seeing these shared online as much as I do.

Right, I’m off to do a puzzle.

This took me a moment but blew my mind.

Lotsa love, Grace xo

You have certainly done a brilliant job with your blog. Enjoy your grocery shopping and the results from it! I wish our supermarkets were more like that, with personality and atmosphere. That one reminds me of where my daughter shops in Vancouver. A bit pricey compared to here, but amazing choice and quality.
Happy weekend chillin’. Hugs. Annette X

Enjoy reading your blog, Grace. I can imagine that was quite a scary proposition but you are doing fantastically well at just being yourself! Good role model, I guess!! Love your choice of cards. Have a lovely relaxing weekend. Hxx

Great blog, I started one just to keep a record of the cards I did then got side tracked, really must have another go. Love all the cards you’ve picked and it’s great to see them online for inspiration. Have a relaxing weekend. We’ve decided to have a bbq tomorrow for lunch as it’s going to be nice (fingers crossed they’re telling the truth) so a couple of friends are coming over. Probably the last for the year but we might squeeze another in who knows! Enjoy the jigsaw xx

You are doing a great job with the blog Grace and a few nerves occasionally are no bad thing. I live the samples. People are so talented. I hope the shopping goes well and have a relaxing weekend. xx

You cheat! There’s a whole book counting as one!! Re-setting to mindful shopping, eating, puzzles etc brings great peace. Grace 21 has that to learn but changing activities has helped millions.

I’d be willing to drive a lot longer than 15 minutes to shop at a store like that. My big excitement last weekend was a trip to Walmart. They had everything on my list in stock! It’s funny how my priorities have changed.

You write a great blog. Just sounds as if you are chatting away to us which is how it should be.
That supermarket looks great, not too keen on shopping at the moment. We have ventured into a couple but not enjoyable. I have our groceries delivered but really would rather get them myself.
The cards look great, some clever people.
    Enjoy your relaxing weekend. X

Hi Grace, love reading your blogs but must remember when replying that I mustn’t waffle as if you had a clue who I am as it is like reading a personal note from a friend. Hope your shopping trip went well & your fridge is now full of wonderful goodies. Enjoy the rest of your chill out weekend.
We had started to go shopping again but it is getting less comfortable as time goes on as people seem to have forgotten what we have been doing for the last 6 months & why !!. From Tuesday we are on extra lockdown in that we can’t meet in each others houses or gardens except if we are in a support bubble so I will still be able to go to my mom’s with her shopping although I might change the shopping back to ordering online & just go over to put it away for her.
    Till next week

Beautiful cards you’ve picked again today. Really enjoy reading your blog, you are just like your Mum making it interesting, sometimes funny, and always lovely like you are talking to us. That supermarket looks great. We also have just got another car, a case of having to, as the electrics kept cutting out on ours e.g. no speedo or instruments. It went for scrap. Sad really as we loved it, its lived with us for 10 years. Enjoy yours and your shopping trip. Stay safe Grace. xxx
