Saturday Share Time!
Hello hello! Grace here.
I hope this finds you well, safe and enjoying your Saturday morning.
Apologies that there wasn’t a Saturday Share blog last weekend. I took last Friday off, since I had my US driving test that morning.
Good news… I passed! It’s silly really. I’ve had my UK license since I was a teenager but it expired a few years ago. More recently I’ve found myself unable to rent cars when traveling and that hasn’t been fun! I can’t be depending on people at 34 years old now can I? I was really lacking this one important thing to give me the independence I truly need at the moment.
SO… my big task to complete in the last few months has been ‘get US driving licence’. And now I’m patiently waiting for it to arrive in the mail 🙂 Well chuffed! It does feel good to tick such a big thing off the list. What have you got on your list that needs to be done?

Hi Grace, well done on the driving test – don’t think I would fancy driving around New York or did you go out of town to do it ? What a fantastic selection of cards this week – it must take you ages to choose which ones to put on here as there has been a steady flow of beautiful artwork posted on both pages over the last few weeks. It’s great that everyone is sharing their makes to give inspiration to others. Often I will think ”how did they do that or that’s a good idea using that plate there”
Its another hot one here today so will probably stay in the cool & catch up with my SHAC homework before Monday – things don’t change even after over 50 years since I last did any – always left until the last minute !!
