Saturday Share time!

Hello hello. Grace here.

I hope this finds you safe, happy and enjoying your Saturday morning.

I’m writing this ‘ere blog on Friday afternoon, in France, as I listen to my American grandmother nattering away in her favourite chair behind me.

We’ve managed to bust her out of the local hospital for 2 nights at a time (though she has to go back in between) so tonight will be her 4th night of sleep in her own home since October. It’s the little things! She is so happy to sleep in her own bed, stand forever in her own hot shower, sit in her favourite chair and stroke her cats. We forget how lucky we are to have these little, seemingly unimportant things until you don’t have them.
She lost her sight 2 years ago but managed to live at home alone until last October. Clever clever woman! She manages it better than most, but still… it’s rough. She couldn’t have picked a more difficult little village to retire in though. Here are some photos…

Roof cat. Meet Harry 🙂
Tende, France. About as remote as it gets!
Sat in the sunshine outside l’hopital x

But we’ve made it work. We just have to do the cobbled streets and the endless stairs very slowly. Luckily she’s in otherwise pretty great physical health. I think it’s about time I lived in a little more gratitude. Carpe diem x

It’s a joy to sit down and peruse our Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide communities to find your artwork for the weekly gallery. Grab that cup of something soothing and join me in enjoying these special works of art…

Thank you for popping in for yet another Saturday Share! Make sure to stop by for a fabulous step-by-step project from Maggie Byford.

Travel gently, friends.
Lotsa love, Grace xo

Thank you Grace for sharing your lovely photos and about the time you are spending with your paternal grandmother. There is indeed a lot to be grateful for even at times when life seems unfair and difficult.
A great variety of artwork you have highlighted this week. Well chosen.

Wow, thanks Grace, what a wonderful woman you are. Spending special quality time with an amazing lady, who clearly appreciates your care and time.

It’s wonderful that you’ve been bought up to care and respect your elders. That’s a rare gift these days. So many young people have no idea how to treat others.

The art work as usual sings to your heart, and I hope with you eloquent words you were able to describe your choices to your grandmother who I’m sure would share your love of the talent here in this lovely group.

Safe journeys back to your Mum, have a wonderful time with her.

Thank you for being wonderful you.xx

So glad to hear you are having a nice time with your Grandmother and able to help her, she certainly does live in a beautiful remote hillside village. Have a safe journey home to your Mum & Dave xxxx

Oh Grace, thank you for choosing one of my pieces-I’m as chuffed as nuts!
Thank you also for sharing photos of the wonderful place your Grandmother lives in and I’m sure she will be eternally grateful for your visit enabling her to be in the surroundings that she loves and is familiar with.
I’m sure you will also enjoy being back home with your lovely Mum.

Hi Grace, another great selection for this week from the FB pages. Its great that everyone is sharing their work & spreading the love of Clarity.
I have just looked up where Tende is & wow it is remote but a beautiful area. Glad you were able to take your Grandma home for a couple of nights but what will happen when you leave. Such a dilemma for you all to decide what is the next best move. Enjoy your last few days in France & have a good journey to the UK ready to celebrate your mom’s birthday next week xx

Hi Grace and Grandma, what a lovely thing for her to be able to come back to her home for a few days. I hope you can get things sorted out for her and her lovely cat. My Mum is almost blind now and has just moved into a lovely home and is enjoying the company and things going on around her and she is always included. The other week she had an owl sitting on her arm and the next a guinea pig in her lap!

Lovely selection of cards as usual, such a talented lot !

    Have a lovely weekend. X

    Beautiful artwork, amazing talent.

My grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles are all gone now and I could really do with some comfort now. Cherish your family while you can.

    Be safe, be well.
