Our Saturday Share

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope you’re having a lovely weekend! Getting crafty? Seeing family? Running errands? Whatever it is, I hope that you’re able to be present and fully enjoy it! The only thing that is real is the moment you’re/we’re in right now, so try to grab it with both hands… even if it’s just sitting with a cup of tea and reading this blog. I fly through life sometimes and don’t even look up to pay attention to what is going on around me.

We’re at yet another wedding this weekend! Yep. Non-stop. Another pair of friends whose big day was postponed because of COVID last Summer, and luckily they still like each other… so here we are!

And back to England in 2 week’s time. More Covid tests to book, bags to pack, flights to board and family to squeeze (hey Grandad!). Life is a bit overwhelming these days isn’t it? Or is it just me? Whilst doing all of these things, I need to actually look up and appreciate that I’m even able to do it all (thanks to vaccines and constant testing!). This time last year we couldn’t do much of anything.
I hope this relates to you. I think we’re still in survival mode (the pandemic is not over at all, so quite rightly!) but that also stops us from being able to fully appreciate where we are now and what we’re doing. Join me today… in trying to be present and taking it all in with gratitude, appreciation and eyes wide open. No matter WHAT we’re doing.

Speaking of appreciation… This week we have a wonderful collection of your artwork to share and appreciate. WOW! Ya ready?

Whoa! An absolutely glorious collection of your beautifully handmade cards and pieces of artwork. I hope you feel chuffed with yourself when you finish these. They are quite astounding really. I know that so many of us really enjoy seeing these each week, so thank you for sharing them online!

If you want to see more handmade artwork, you can find it all on these media pages on Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide.

Did you catch Mum back in the SHAC SHAC this week? It’s official, Barbara is back! And she is going to be doing the SHAC SHAC every Thursday morning at 10am UK time. BRILLIANT! I know that many of us have missed spending that lovely hour with her. You can catch up on this week’s episode here…

She’s baaaaack!

For now, travel gently! And look up 🙂
And I’ll catch you tomorrow for a fun bloggy tutorial with our Glynis 🙂

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Hi Grace, I admire all the things that you are doing, I wish that I had the confidence I’m afraid that I am still not risking being in close proximity to anyone at present, I feel like a recluse haha.
Stunning stunning artwork, I am in awe. Thank you for sharing with us.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Great artwork again. Don’t know how you manage to choose from the enormous selection out there. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Your Mum, Gran and Grandad will be so pleased to have you with them again. It will be worth all the testing and related aggro to be with family.
With Covid infection rates going up again we have decided to stick to the routine of he past 18 months to protect ourselves. We get up once a week at the crack of dawn to shop before the crowds turn out. I was horrified this morning to see discarded face coverings scattered about the car park and so many staff not protected.
I bless your Mum (and the team) for giving us so much to enjoy during our incarceration.
    Stay well, stay safe.

Hi Grace, another great selection again this week. Have been doing a selection of birthday cards for the next few weeks so can’t post them yet in between still decorating at our daughters house. Just the lounge to go & then those fiddily bits that take as long as the main painting & papering that always get left until the end.
I bet you can’t wait to get back here to see your grandad in 2 weeks after the plans for last time were changed so much. I think I said last week your mom has you lined up to join in with the craft along so that will be fun.
Take care, will look in tomorrow to see what challenge Glynis has lined up for us.

Dear Grace. Pleased to hear you are due another visit home. I have been feeling very lonely the last few days as I had no internet, so no chats with the family, didn’t realize how much it matters. I couldn’t watch your mum on Friday, so will have to catch up.
Have done a couple of cards recently, but quite a bit of time weeding the garden.
Hope your granddad is improving. He will be delighted to see you. Love xx

Hi Grace – I’m so happy that you can get back to the UK again and see the whole family this time.
Thanks for the beautiful artwork. How talented people are!
Thanks too for the reminder to stay in the moment. My girls are returning to Europe tomorrow and I keep welling up at the thought of them leaving, whereas I should be smiling because we are together for another day!
    Take care xxx
