Always Encourage The Good

Hi there, friends. It’s Monday and it’s going to be a fun day. Can you tell I’m feeling optimistic today?

After uni I was a volunteer for a charity for a year and the one thing that was drilled into us was ‘always encourage the good’. Because, well, there is always something negative to focus on, right? Nothing in life is perfect. NEVERTHELESS, there will always be something worth praising. So always encourage the good! That’s the motto for today.

And there is a lot to promote this week. Loads of good things happening. You’ll find out more as the week goes on, but for now, I’ll give you the low down on our TV offerings this week, because we have a selection of wonderfully exciting shows for you in the form of a to-die-for One Day Special and a doodle-tastic Mixed Media Friday.

The One Day Special begins on Wednesday at 6pm, and it’s a great excuse for Paul to give his die-cutting machine a real workout with our stylish and distinctive Christmas Windows Fresh Cut Dies. That’s right, it’s time to get into the festive spirit because Christmas crafting starts NOW! Paul will be dishing out his best die-cutting tips and techniques as he demos wonderfully creative projects that will entertain and inspire your own artwork. Our Christmas Windows designs are a true Clarity classic. Distinctive and unique in style, they offer a simple yet elegant way to create beautiful artwork quickly and easily. Paul’s shows, for sure, will be WELL worth a watch.

Next up, Barb mixes things up a bit on Mixed Media Friday with brand new Mixed Impressions stamps. (Hope you didn’t get mixed up with that sentence๐Ÿ˜‰). Designed by Cherry Green, we have four brand new collections including the Paisley, Rectangles, Petals and Retro Circles collections. Each collection comes with a ‘mat’ stamp which is a big blog of texture/pattern design for covering large areas with an abstract image, as well as a set of mini stamps that match the style but provide a wider range of design options. Each design is an elegant pattern and has been created for producing really creative, artistic and exciting artwork that looks really fun and energetic.

So, do join Barb for a really playful set of shows.

Before I go, I’d just like to thank everyone who responded so well to yesterday’s blog and send in your blue artwork. If you didn’t get to read it, you can find out how to enter our little giveaway right here. You’ve got until next Monday 28th September to enter and there are THREE prizes up for grabs – SUPER EXCITING ๐Ÿ˜!

Find out how to enter here!

Well, that’ll do for me. Enjoy your Monday. Enter the giveaway. Make a note of TV and encourage the good ๐Ÿ™‚

Bye!

The new Mixed Impression stamps are terrific. I especially “need” the rectangles. I love the Doodleology sets. I send out a big set of cards each week, and this week I’m using the heart stamp. They are stamps you can use for anyone on your list.

I love the church window dies. I’ve made all my Christmas cards this year from the Shepherds one ๐Ÿ™‚

I have used the window dies on some of my Christmas cards this year, must have a look at the dies on Barbara’s blog and check if I have them. They look with the gilding flakes. x
